Along with a large number of other exhibits that we moved when the Science museum in Birmingham closed were the City of Birmingham locomotive and also the double decker tram. The locomotive required our specialist rail trailer which we used after the glass wall at the end of the building was removed. To lift the tram we manufactured a frame to prevent any damage to the tram body. On arrival at its new site the frame was removed and the tram was rolled into place (1)
